Alf's going nowhere.

Le Fondre in RedA number of scouts were at Don Valley on Tuesday evening and the Millers have already rejected intrest from a Championship club for the services of Alfie and say there's no intrest in selling him

Ronnie Moore told the Advertiser; "There's no doubt that clubs will be looking at him and I did speak to a Championship side this week, but we've got a good chairman who won't let him go."

"In past years he'd probably have been gone by now but we've no reason to sell anyone right now, unless someone comes in with a couple of million and it's an offer we can't turn down."

"Everyone was raving about his second goal against Lincoln, but I think the first one, made on the break, was even better. The second one was pure instinct, but he had an awful lot to do for the first. He's got that little turn of foot that kills people, but we won't be letting him go."
Paul Douglas the Millers' Chief Operating Officer confirmed the rules that Alf would not be able to play for another team this season anyway; "He has already played for two clubs this season and under the rules he can't sign for anyone else, But that's irrelevant because he won't be going anywhere. Selling Adam won't even come into our thinking. We are happy with him and he's happy to be here. We are not in a financial position where we have to think of off-loading players."
