As already discussed on our forum, Le Fondre, who got his 24th goal of the season on Saturday at Burton, came off with a calf injury in the final five minutes.
Tomorrow's game at table toppers and his old club Rochdale may come too early for him.
Moore explained to the Star: "He felt a twinge and we'll have to see how he is but Tuesday is a bit quick if it's a strain and depending exactly where it is.
"The lad will be desperate to play in this one but it's about being fit. It didn't seem too bad and sometimes these things can be nothing, but we'll have to wait and see. Certainly we won't be taking any risks."
Meanwhile Moore is set to seal a deal for a new forward this week, with major rumours doing the rounds that Leon Clarke may arrive on loan from neighbours Sheffield Wednesday, although Moore is thought to be persuing several targets.
Josh Walker made his debut on Saturday after arriving initially for one month, and if the loan is extended for the season it will cover the play off final date in May.
