Addison gives us options - Evans

The 6ft 3inch 24 year-old joins for the rest of the season from Bournemouth, and can play either at the back or in central midfield.

And Evans was pleased to get the first of his January transfer deals done.

He told themillers.co.uk: "Miles is a young man we first came across at Derby County when he broke into the side around the same time as Ben Pringle. He can play centre back, centre-mid and it was only two years ago that this young man was tipped to make the very top of the game. Between now and the summer we need to refocus him and I’m pleased he’s the first name that’s joined us this window.”

Addison has been out of action since November 2012 with a serious foot injury, and Evans added: "He’s a big powerful strong lad who will get his head on things. He’s very good technically and what we think we’ve done today by bringing him in is strengthening what we had.

“We feel we’re stronger than we were a few weeks ago and we’re looking to strengthen further now. It won’t be a case of hours though, we’ve got a long time left until the end of January.”
