After it was announced by the official site last night that a price had been agreed for the 22yr old striker, they now report that after being unable to agree personal terms with Le Fondre the transfer is off.
Paul Douglas the Millers Chief Operating Officer said:
"We had a fee agreed with Rochdale but the deal has broken down after the club were not prepared to meet the players wage demands. The Chairman will of course continue to support Mark in his attempts to strengthen the squad"
