Speaking to todays Rotherham Star, boss Mark Robins found his first full season as a manager hard, but the seasons problems will help him in his job.

"It's been a tough season, my first full one, and a real baptism of fire, What I've been through and the things that have happened will certainly stand me in good stead throughout however long a managerial career I have." he said.

"Certainly it has been an invaluable lesson in football management, although there are things I hope won't be repeated.

"Certain things will come out of it that may well help me in the future when I will be able to draw on the experiences of this past year. I am going to reflect on the season, what went on, and come back better prepared for next season." he added

While it seems everybody is happy to have a break after another traumatic season, Robbo won't be putting his feet up, with him needing talks with the clbus new owners in preparation for next season.

"I won't be having a total break - if it's a total break then I've got the sack - but it is important to get things sorted out quickly and the planning can start for next season. In fact, I can't wait for next season and I want to achieve something here."
