500 Club revamped

The 500 club room was open all last season, on production of a ticket which are available from Mangham House and this is the only bar at Don Valley where the Millers make a profit on the beer sales etc

Speaking to the clubs official website, Commercial Director Steve Coakley gave the details of the changes; "It is recognised that, traditionally, there has always been a place where many supporters meet to enjoy pre-match drinks prior to kick-off and we hope to encourage season ticket holders to utilise the new Red & White Club in order to do this,"

The club will have be showing the early game on the screens with Sky Sports and the room itself is due an overhaul after the U2 Concert and will be ready for the Chesterfield game on Saturday 5th September 2009.

"This is one of the few areas within the stadium that Rotherham United Football Club can benefit from financially, We are keen to do everything we can to make this a regular vibrant area so we can not only develop an enjoyable facility for supporters but, at the same time, improve on our current fairly limited income streams." he added

As usual, admittance will be by ticket, Season ticket holders will have the chance to pick up a free ticket from Mangham House, any spare tickets will then be available from the Red & White shop at DVS.. All tickets are issued on a first come first served basis.
