Warne'y going
5 players were out of contract this year, and Mick Harford has offered a contract to goalkeeper Gary Montegomery and is due to hold talks with midfielder Andy Monkhouse.

The 24 year old has spent most of this season out of action with a knee injury, and this has meant that Harford has not seen him in action first hand for the Millers.

Rob Scott and Paul Warne, are likely to be contacted by former Millers boss Ronnie Moore, he has recently come out on the record saying that he would like to sign them both.

Scotty also off
Scott, talking to radio sheffield, reckons theres a few more years in him yet. "The gaffer told us yesterday who was going, theres not many at the club thats out of contract, and unfortunately he said he was unable to offer me anything. But I'm feeling as fit as I have for a long long time, I have had a couple of injurys in the last year or so, and maybe that in a roundabout sort of way has given me the appitite for the game again and hopefully I'll be able to crack on and have a good season somewhere next year."

Although 3 players are leaving, theres rumours that more will be going. With a big rumour that Mike Pollitt will be leaving to join Sheffield United with Paul Shaw and Luke Beckett coming to Millmoor.

Pollitt who won Player of the Year at last nights presentation night was the subject of a £200k bid from Nottingham Forest a couple of months ago, and
Macca - is he off too?
with Montgomery being offered a contract, it does seem that he is on his way, with his high wages being able to pay more players as Harford looks to bring the wage bill down while maintaining a squad to bid for promotion next season.

Martin McIntosh is also another name that is rumoured to be allowed to leave Millmoor. Ronnie Moore is also intrested in him, although wages could well be a stumbling block for the struggling league 1 club.

Also leaving the club is Darren Garner, who madde life hard for himself by flagging the fans off twice. Garner who is currently on loan at Torquay, is rumoured to be retiring at the end of the season.

MillersMad would like to wish the players all the best for the future. Apart from when they're facing us!!!
