Millers V Derby County - HEAD2HEAD

The Millers start thier League Cup campaign tonight and will be hoping to emulate the good cup runs of last season..

However, tonights game will be tough against Derby County who are now managed by Nigel Clough and seem to be backing him up with cash. Spending a rumoured £900k on former Miller Shaun Barker, who after missing Derby's 2-1 win over Peterborough on Saturday is back available for tonights match.

Clough won't have new signing from Spurs, Jake Livermoor available as he is serving a ban from a red card he picked up last season.. He could however give Kris Commons and Luke Varney a run out after both were on the subs bench on Saturday.

Millers fans should be able to have fun giving Robbie Savage some stick.

Millers boss Mark Robins wont have new singing (subject to medical) Adam Le Fondre available to him, and will ponder wether to start with Saturdays goalscorer Paul Warne or stick with Ryan Taylor.. Tom Pope looks set to conitinue up front as the Millers have no fresh injury worries after Saturdays opening league game.

ODD FACT:- The Millers and Derby have never faced each other in a cup competition before..
