History of the Rotherham United v Oxford United fixture

The Millers play host to Oxford United at Don Valley Stadium on Saturday afternoon, and hold the advantage on previous meetings between the two. Of the 9 games played, The Millers have recorded 3 wins, and Oxford have come away with 2 victories.

The last time the two teams met at Millmoor was more than a decade ago, in October 2000, with Rotherham running out comfortable 3-1 winners in a League Division Two match.

Recent respective form guides

The Millers will be hoping to improve on their poor home form, collecting just 4 draws from the last six contests. While they have scored 7, a worringly large 11 have been leaked at the other end.

Ronnie Moore maye also welcome back Danny Harrison and Tom Newey who were rested for the JPT loss against Huddersfield.

The U's away form is none too clever either, seeing them win just 1 and draw 2 of the last six. While they have hit 6 goals, 11 have hit the back of the wrong net.

Team News..
Ronnie Moore may have a right back on loan in time for tomorrow's game as he has to do without the injured Johnny Mullins and Dale Tonge is not fully fit as yet.

Nick Fenton and Ryan Taylor are other injury victims but should be fit to play whilst Adam Le Fondre returns after illness.

Oxford give debuts to loan trio Paul Wotton, Ben Futcher and striker Steve McClean, who all signed this week. McClean should partner James Constable up front as he returns after missing last weeks cup game with Burton.

Jake Wright is missing through suspension whilst Mark Creighton is set to join Wrexham on loan.

MillersMad's prediction ...
We see this as an opportunity for The Millers to get the show back on the road by taking all the three points available. Home Win
