History of the Rotherham United v Northampton Town fixture

Rotherham prepare to entertain Northampton Town at Don Valley Stadium on Tuesday evening, looking to continue an impressive record. The Millers are on top, winning 53% of the games played between the two.

The most recent encounter between these two sides at Don Valley was in April, The Millers carving out a narrow 1-0 victory in a League Two match.

Recent respective form guides

Rotherham United have only collected 1 win and 3 draws from the last six home games played. While The Millers have scored 9, a worringly large 12 have been leaked at the other end.

Northampton's away form is none too clever either, winning 2 of the last six, but losing the other 4. While the Cobblers have hit 8 goals, 11 have hit the back of the wrong net.

Team News..
Ryan Cresswell is again missing for the Millers but they must also do with out Tom Newey who is suspended. Jamie Green fills in at full back as Johnny Mullins continues at centre half.

Andy Warrington could return to replace Jamie Annerson in goal.

The Cobblers have Leon McKenzie fit to play in attack after he came off at half time in the 4-1 loss to Barnet, a game which saw Liam Davis red carded and he is missing through suspension.

Andy Holt and Marcus Hall could both start for Ian Sampson's side.
