History of the Bury v Rotherham United fixture

The Millers face a trip to Bury at Gigg Lane on Saturday afternoon, needing to turn around their fortunes at the ground. The Millers will be hoping to improve upon a record which has seen them lose 18 and win only 7 of the 32 games.

The most recent encounter between these two sides was just last season, in October 2008, with Rotherham inflicting a narrow 2-1 defeat upon the Shakers in a League Two match. Reuben Reid and Drewe BNroughton scored the goals.

Team News..
Boss Ronnie Moore must do without the suspended Nick Fenton. Marc Joseph could come straight in at centre half or Pablo Mills could drop into the defence paving way for one of Micky Cummins or Jason Taylor to start in midfield.

Tom Pope is pushing for a recall up front ahead of Drewe Broughton whilst Andy Nicholas continues at left back.

Shakers boss and former Millers manager Alan Knill has various injury headaches and is without striking trio Andy Bishop, Andy Morrell and summer signing Ryan Lowe. Danny Carlton is also missing.

Knill will leave naming his team late on matchday with several other squad members also struggling for fitness.

Former Rotherham loanee Ryan Cresswell will take his place in the Bury side though.
