Footymad preview History of the Rotherham United v Burton Albion fixture

Rotherham United prepare to entertain Burton Albion at Don Valley Stadium on Saturday afternoon, aiming to preserve their record of never having lost at home to the visitors. The Millers have drawn both of the previous games against their opponents, however.

The most recent encounter between these two sides at Don Valley was just last season, in September 2010, when they fought out a thrilling high-scoring 3-3 draw in a League Two match as the visitors battled back from 3 goals down thanks to a Shaun Harrad hat-trick.

Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido organised a friendly with Telford in midweek and saw Cleveland Taylor return to fitness in a 2-0 win. Both goals were bagged by Argentinian trialist Adrianas Guiriri.

The visitors arrive at DVS just one point behind the Millers in the table with top scorer Justin Richards leading their attack, having netted 7 times so far.

Marcus Marshall and Luke Foster are the only other players that could be employed at full back and centrally respectively after injury to Mark Bradley against Sheffield United.
