Its a new start!! - CunnyMiller

Staying away from Millmoor has been very hard, the amount of Saturday’s spent tiding the garden up, going to the tip and doing odd jobs; it’s been poor to say the least.

Then the news us stay away fans wanted to hear, “new owners” were the headlines of the various Rotherham United message boards. Hadn’t we seen this before when Freeman and then Earth Finance were pictured waving the red and white of the Millers? Was it another false hope?

It turns out not to be!

So it was off to Leicester on Boxing Day, great performance and a deserved win. Next was West Ham and me buying a half season ticket - £150 spent, a wonderful game to watch with both teams trying to play football, and all the emotions that go with it.

So what now?

It’s the first of January 2005 and we have Coventry at home, I’m going to take MY seat in the Tivoli and support the team. It’s a great feeling knowing it’s a new start for the Millers and all us fans.

Well done to all those strong fans that continued to support the club by turning up during the Booth years, well done to those who were strong enough to stay away during the last few years of the Booth regime.
