This year everyone bar a couple came along to the restaurant and Dazza quite kindly bought a few bottles of wine for each table to get the evening going.
From prawn crackers to crispy duck to Fillet Steak in black bean sauce everyone really enjoyed their meal. The Chinese beer went down a treat after a hot sunny day playing football and the service was fantastic. With a group of people that large you can often be waiting hours for food (see los amigos) but it all came in timely fashion and to a high quality.
With it being Dazza’s 40th birthday IMFC wanted to get our esteemed fitness coach and good friend two unique presents. The first was a personalized IMFC shirt with “Ferguson 40” on the back, signed by all the players to show our thanks for all the hard work he’s put towards the club over the years. Jebu gave a little speech in the restaurant and handed over the shirt to Dazza. It was a personal touch from the team and epitomizes the team spirit over the weekend.

The second present we wanted to give Dazza was winning Worldnet. Some thought we weren’t good enough but we would give it our best shot and fight to the end!
The bill came to some hundreds of pounds but between the 25+ of us it worked out very reasonable. There was no hassle with payment and there was a handsome tip for the waiters and staff. Although Paul El scared the owner of the restaurant to death when he told him that a prawn had destroyed Gazza’s eyes!
