Man in the Middle - Port Vale.

Last updated : 25 December 2012 By Deano

Our good friend Mr Tevor Kettle from Rutland is the man in charge of the clash with Port Vale at the NYS.

Kettle is infamous for the debacle at Barnsley in 2005 that's still talked about every time his name crops up. The game saw three Millers players plus manager Mick Harford dismissed and a clear goal ruled out that had crossed the line.

We'd be here all day discussing it, but it's Christmas so sod that for a turkey stuffing...

Earlier this season Kettle took charge of the 2-1 defeat at Northampton when Ben Pringle bagged the Millers only goal of the evening.

Kettle's seasons total stands at 86 yellows and five red cards issued in 26 games so far.

Running the lines are Mr. R. Atkin (Lincolnshire) and Mr. J. Tyas (West Yorkshire).

The fourth official is Mr. R. Wigglesworth (South Yorkshire).
