Karl Evans from Greater Manchester.

Karl started refereeing in Junior football in Salford and progressed via amateur football in Wigan to the contributory league.

He joined the National List of refs in 2007, standing in the Millers 1-1 draw with Notts County at Millmoor in September of that year.

Evans is not a ref Rotherham have come across too much in recent seasons, and his only other previous game in charge was in 2008/09 against Brentford.

Earlier this campaign he booked three men in the 0-0 FA Cup first round game with York City at Don Valley in November - the Millers lost the replay 3-0.

This season Karl has stood in 15 games, the last of which was Dagenham's 1-0 win at Hartlepool in League One on 15th January. In total he's dished out 42 yellow and 2 red cards.

Running the lines will be M. A. Astley and S. Bratt.

The fourth official is P. Gooch.
