Coote was in charge of two Millers games last season at either end of the campaign.
The 2-2 draw with Barnet back in August 2011 produced only two yellow cards, but there were five cards shown in the game at Aldershot last April, including two reds, in a match which produced the same scoreline.
Tom Newey was dismised for the visitors while the Shots Jordan Roberts also saw red.
This season Coote taken charge of 30 games, showing 88 yellows and four red cards.
