Man in the Middle - Notts County

Last updated : 25 March 2010 By Duke

Grant Hegley from Hertfordshire.

Grant became a National Assistant Referee in 1992, stepping up to the National List of Referees in 2001.

Grant was referee when the Millers met West Brom at the Hawthorns in the Carling Cup in August last year.

The game turned out to be a seven goal thriller, with goals from Mickey Cummins and Tom Pope twice bringing the Millers back from a goal down to take the game into extra time.

The Millers took the lead themselves, through another Pope goal, only for goals from Beattie and Cox to put the Baggies through to the next round.

This season Grant has taken charge of 30 Games issuing only 28 Yellow and 3 Red cards, not too bad!

Running the lines will be Ross Joyce (Cleveland) along with Rob Merchant (Staffordshire)

The Fourth Official is Geoff Law (Leicestershire)
