This is Karl's second season as a National list Referee, after spending three seasons as a panel referee and National List assistant.
Karl was last in charge of a Millers game last season when league leaders Brentford edged closer to promotion as they stretched their unbeaten run to seven games, with a 0-0 draw at Don Valley in a game that saw Nathan Elder fracture his eye socket in a clash with Pablo Mills.
