The experienced Bates last took charge of a Millers match back in February 2010, the 2-0 home win over Dagenham.
Adam Le Fondre netted a double on the night with a yellow card going to defender Nick Fenton, who will line up for our opponents tomorrow.
So far this season Bates has issued 27 yellows in ten games in charge, but has kept the red card in his pocket.
Running the lines will be Mr. R. Clark (Northumberland) and Mr. I. Siddall (Lancashire).
