Man In The Middle - MK Dons

Last updated : 03 January 2008 By Deano
Step forward Mr David Foster, a relatively inexperienced but possible lucky omen for us this on Saturday afternoon.

Foster, from Tyne and Wear, is only in his second season on the list of pro referees afetr being promoted in 2005 from the national list of assistants.

He first took charge of the Millers in a 5-1 win against Crewe at Millmoor in October 2006, and has stood in two other home victories since then - a 1-0 win over Blackpool last season with Chris O'Grady scoring the goal and earlier on this season in the 3-2 win over Mansfield, when no cards were issued during the 90 minutes.

Foster's record this season reads 42 yellows handed out in 15 matches in the middle, with four lads being sent for an early bath.

His weekend assistants are G. Beswick (Co. Durham) and C.L. Reeves (East Yorks), the fourth official is Mr P. Thompson (Derbys).
