Man In The Middle - Mansfield Town

Last updated : 04 October 2007 By Deano
Lets hope this weekends man in the middle brings us abit of fortune too, as his previous two games in charge at Millmoor have seen us hit six goals and collect maximum points.

David Foster from Tyne and Wear is standing in only his second season on the official referee's list after spending five years running the line.

And his previous encounters with the Millers have seen us thrash Crewe 5-1 last October and a 1-0 win over Blackpool back in March, when Chris O'Grady netted the only goal.

Foster issued only 40 yellows last year, with an average of less than two per game in his 22 outings - with five lads receiving orders for an early bath.

However Saturday will see only his second game of the current season. He previously booked six players in Bury's 2-1 win over Accrington last week.

Foster's weekend assistants are P. Graham (Greater Manchester) and H.W Leonard (East Sussex), whilst the fourth official is Mr K.J. Mattocks (Lancs)
