Man In The Middle - Kevin Friend

Last updated : 22 February 2007 By Deano
Friend, who originates from Leicestershire in the East Midlands, has kept the red card in his pocket so far in 2007 but was slightly card happy earlier in the campaign.

It's his second Millers appointment of the season, with the first way back in August in the 1-0 win at Blackpool which saw us eat into the minus ten points for the first time. Just one yellow card was issued in that game.

So far Friend has taken charge of 25 games, with 69 names going into the book and five going for an early bath.

His highest crime count was the 1-1 draw between Plymouth and Ipswich at the end of October, which saw eight yellows and one red brandished.

Mr Friend will be assisted by S A Child and A R Henley.

The fourth official is Mr G C Law.
