Last updated : 08 October 2009 By Duke

...Neil Swarbrick from Lancashire.

Neil started reffing later than most at the age of 29. It took him just six years to reach the National List of assistant referees, and four years later was promoted to the referees list.

This is Neil's second visit as a referee to the Don Valley, last season he took charge of the Millers victory on penalty's over Wolves in the second round of the Carling Cup. Last season's 5-1 win for the Millers in League Two at Chester was also reffed by Neil.

The opening goal was scored for Chester by our own Kevin Ellison, but a Reuben Reid hat trick and goals from Micky Cummings and Drewe Broughton saw the Millers run out comfortable winners.

This season in Eleven games Neil has issued 25 Yellow and the one Red Card.

Waving the flags will be: Alf Greenwood (South Yorkshire) along with Danny Roberts (Manchester)

The Fourth Official will be Andrew Smith (West Yorkshire).
