We have to go back to the 2006/2007 season to find the last time Paul refereed a game involving the Millers, that being the 3-2 away defeat to Doncaster Rovers.

Paul joined the list of Football League Linesmen in 1986 and the National List of Referee's in 1990, making him the most senior match official.

His refereeing career started in 1977 in the Hertfordshire County and Isthmian Leagues.

Amongst the games he has refereed is the FA Sunday Cup Final, the 2006 League Two Play Off Final in addition to numerous other senior games including refereeing an International between Nigeria v Venezuela.

This season in 35 games Paul has issued 127 yellow and 11 red cards, jeeeeeesus...
