Man in the Middle - Dagenham & Redbridge

Last updated : 26 May 2010 By Duke

James Linington from the Isle of Wight.

James became a National Group Referee in 2008, and was appointed as an Assistant Referee in the FA Challenge Vase Final and also the Football League One Play-Off Final, in his first year.

Earlier this season James ironically took charge of the Millers league game at Dagenham when Rotherham were looking for some improvement after losing their two previous games.

Loanee Marcus Marshall making his debut was a thorn in the side for the Daggers with his speed, and it was he who provided a second half cross for Adam Le Fondre to knock in the winner on the day and his 26th goal of the season.

This season James has issued 70 Yellow and 2 Red cards in his 32 games in the middle.

Running the lines will be Andy Davies (Hampshire) along with Declan Ford (Leicestershire)

The Fourth Official is Neil Swarbrick (Lancashire)
