Man In The Middle - Dagenham & Red

Last updated : 25 September 2008 By Deano
The Millers seem to be picking up a habit of the league appointing the latest referees to their fixtures, this week we have another in David Phillips from Sussex who has just been promoted from the Blue Square Premier.

By the look of things he's not card shy either. Last season David officiated at 17 Conference games, showing 65 yellows and sending off no fewer than 11 players, as three of the reds came in York City's 2-0 away win at Grays.

His Football league record so far reads:

League Two
Sat 16 Aug 2008 Brentford 4-0 Grimsby - 1 yellow

League Two
Sat 30 Aug 2008 Gillingham 1-0 Accrington Stanley - 0 cards

League Two
Sat 13 Sep 2008 Bournemouth 0-1 Macclesfield - 3 yellows, 1 red

His weekend assistants are Warren Atkin and Gavin Muge, from Sussex and Bedfordshire respectively. The fourth official is Mr Andy Davies from Hampshire.
