Russell joined the National List of assistant Referees in 1998, and the National List of Referees in 2004.
This is Russell's second visit to Don Valley this season, he was in charge of the Millers game against Aldershot back in October, when it was Aldershot who looked the more likely to score in a game that fizzled out to be the only scoreless match of the day in the division.
This season Russell has taken charge of 35 games, issuing 74 Yellow and 3 Red cards.
Running the lines will be Russell Fletcher (Derbyshire) along with Danny Gratton (Staffordshire).
