Man In The Middle - Chester City

Last updated : 23 January 2008 By Deano
36 year-old Tony Bates takes charge at the weekend having been around the circuit for the past 11 years, so brings a wealth of experience.

The Millers have only lost once away from Millmoor this season whilst Chester have lost five of their last six games after making a solid start, so something has to give.

It may be a lively clash and with Bates, who originates from Staffordshire, having shown only 53 yellows and two reds in 21 games so far this term, there should be a decent flow to the game if he keeps his cards in his pocket.

This weekend his assistants are S. Ihringova (Shrops) and A. Scregg (Merseyside)

The fourth official is M. A. Astley (Greater Mancs)
