Jon started refereeing in 1988,and reached the National List of assistant referees in 2003. Two years later he was promoted to the National List of Referees.He has refereed a Conference Play Off Final and an England U-19 friendly game.
Last year he reffed two games involving the Millers the 3-1 defeat against Wednesday in the League cup at Millmoor and the 1-1 draw in the league fixture at Darlington.
In the 31 games he has been in charge this season Jon has given out 77 yellow and 6 red cards.
Running the lines will be James Adcock (Nottinghamshire) along with Peter Quinn (Cleveland)
