Second place is where all the action lies and it's tight. Masta had a good week and gives himself a bit of breathing space from The_Dark_Horse who in turned stretched his lead over Markthemiller. There has been much said about the levels of criticism that Markie gets on this site. Some people think it's funny, others think it's bullying and Markie himself has mentioned time and time again that he's not bothered. Now, I have been in touch with our pyscho-analyst at Millersmad and have been scientifically informed that because Markthemiller claims not to be bothered so often it does in fact means his soul is being destroyed. So we'll go easy on him this week by saying that after a decent score last week, normal service has been resumed with a typically poor effort. At least he can take comfort from the fact that Week 15 sees double points again. Oh, I have just seen his record from previous double points weeks......
Although they aren't in direct competition in the league, there is undoubtedly a rivalry between S64miller, Zipahdeedoodah and Millers1884 and we don't see any harm in stoking that fire! It's S64 who can walk away with it head held highest this week though Zippy does maintain the higher league standing. Unfortunately for 1884 his attendance record isn't as prolific as it is when he goes to watch Rotherham and as a result languises in low midtable.
Tivoli_End should be furious this week that 8 points has not been enough to see him win the weekly award. That's because CTmiller stole his glory with a showing of 8.20 points. His effort of "Up against the clock, two finalists in this year's National Windbreaking Championships demonstrate their different techniques.. " entertained all of the judges and he goes in to the prize winning draw.
This week on the whole saw some very good scores, the judges were clearly in high scoring mode. There were a couple of losers this week though. Bigladonos was lacking subtlety or discretion when he posted his entry and that wasn't a hit with the judges. SY2006's debut entry has entered the records book as the first ever entry to receive a score of 0 and it wasn't from me!
