The unemployed dancer who has not led the competition since his dismal display in the last double rounds, will hope he does better at trying to find a part time driving job than he is doing at keeping up with Gaz. With a double round approaching in Round 15 he will have to hope that his wife provides him with some funny material.
It's tight below Gaz, with Stevelmu09 sitting behind Gino with some more steady form. He is joined in the race for second by Skipton_Bulldog who claimed his first weekly win with an effort of “Kev and Tony: Heading for oblivion”. That was deemed funny enough by the judges to get the highest mark this weeks and at the same time leaves only bigladonos and millerbezz as people in the top ten without a weekly win.
The little wrap on the knuckles for under performing Masta_2009 has seen him respond with a good effort. He scored a mark of 7.5, which is one of his better efforts this week. He hasn't done it when it has mattered though and as a result his good effort this week has little impact on the table.
Timeforale has confirmed all thought's that normality has been resumed after another typically average round. Despite none of the judging panel being ginger, they didn't look favourably upon his ginger jibes, which makes it all the more unreal that his idea was copied!
Talking of copying, this week sees disqualification for Merry_Miller and Shaun660 who both decided to use the “balls up” line first penned by Andy_The_Miller who sees his resurgence continue.
More proof that Markthemiller's mental state is in a good place as he notched a good score. Mark is hugely inconsistent in this competition but does have the right idea of what a caption should be and this week used it well. But, it's only a single points round this week so not that much ground can be made or lost. Mark needs to really try his best to put his ideas in to use on the doubles round. That's a lot easier said than done though as can be testified by last year's competition where Mark's quest to find a set of double point's saw his catch the bus to the Hoober Stand in his bare feet! It was a low point.
UFO threatened to be mildy amusing this week. I thought her effort, for a bird, wasn't too bad but the judges were not in agreement. I once again commend her though! She knows as a woman she already has a lot of catching up to do in life. But she tries her best every week when everyone else around her is screaming “Stick to the washing up”!
